Skoda Yeti 2014

Revised exterior of facelift Skoda Yeti features sharper headlamps and wider front grille. Redesigned bumper places rectangular fog lamps well below headlights rather than round ones placed between headlamp and grille in current model. Rear hatch door is tweaked and tail lamps are touched up. Overall silhouette is preserved, letting Yeti be spotted anywhere with ease. While Outdoor version gets body cladding and scuff plates, regular City model will be plain and less conspicuous.
Interiors get new 3-spoke steering wheel. Yeti facelift may receive minor changes in music system and instrument console. In cabin aura may be enhanced with new trims and colours on dashboard, panels and upholstery. Functionally, new Yeti could equip electrically adjustable seat for driver, keyless entry and start system, cruise control function and reverse assist camera and display.

Same engine will provide 4×2 FWD Yeti with 110 PS maximum power at 4,200 rpm and 4×4 AWD variant with 140 PS max. power at same 4,200 rpm. Peak torque rating of 4×2 Yeti is 250 Nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm and 4×4 Yeti is 320 Nm from 1,750 to 2,500 rpm. Skoda is considering plonking 1.4 litre TSI (turbocharged petrol) motor in next generation Yeti.
Skoda Yeti facelift at 2014 Delhi Auto ExpoDirect Shift Gearbox (DSG) may not make it to upcoming Skoda Yeti; manual transmission setup will continue its duty in new model as well. Fully synchronised 5 speed gearbox in FWD variant and 6 speed one in AWD Yeti can be seen.
Price of 2014 facelift Yeti is expected to fall in Rs. 15.5 – 19 lakh range (ex-showroom, Delhi).
